The Boiling Shrimp

Cleburne's Cajun seafood destination, The Boiling Shrimp, launched its lunch menu this week offering 27 different items for $8.95 for two appetizers. Just four months old, The Boiling Shrimp has a stream of regular customers who eat there four and five times a week. The menu includes three different salads with blackened, bang bang or butterfly shrimp; eight appetizers that range from bacon wrapped shrimp to fried calamari; six entrees that feature grilled salmon, chicken and shrimp brochette, blackened tilapia, blackened shrimp, bang bang shrimp and pork kabobs; five baskets or po'boys that include catfish, calamari, crawfish tail, popcorn shrimp, and butterfly shrimp. The management enjoys suggestions from customers and has added menu items at the customer's request. The lunch menu is served from 11 am to 2 pm.
