About Bedford
Bedford, Texas is one of the three suburban cities that comprises the mid-cities area, conveniently located between Dallas and Fort Worth. The Dallas/Fort Worth Airport is not even a mile away. The nearest highways are 121 and 183. Not to be outdone by neighboring bigger cities Arlington, Fort Worth or Dallas, Bedford has plenty of hotels, motels, two libraries, pizza delivery, a day spa, massage parlors, a swimming pool, night clubs, theaters, apartment houses and even a Bedford Boys Ranch which once housed young men awaiting adoption. It has since been turned into the city's largest recreational park and social center and displays fireworks for the public every Independence day. Amongst the list of local professionals include doctors, psychotherapists, counselors, psychologists, attorneys and a psychic. All of the excellent and fun venues are located in cities close to Bedford, but they are well worth the drive. Six Flags Over Texas is in Arlington, as is Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and a bowling alley. In Fort Worth, there is a zoo and the Botanic Gardens. Other venues of entertainment include Mountasia Family Fun Center and paintball in North Richland Hills.
