Located on the bank of Fort Worth's Trinity River, the 14,000 square foot, open-air venue has something for everyone, including fresh tortillas handmade daily, and Love's celebrated camp bread served with "pitmaster fat” - a rich and meaty spread Love developed just for this restaurant. The Woodshed also offers a selection of tacos, including Bourbon and Coke Marinated Pork Shoulder with Pickled Chilies; Bulgogi Beef with Housemade Kimchi; and "Today's Animal”, which will be whatever specialty cut Love chooses to offer on any given day. Among the other unique options Love is offering are Brisket-stuffed Poblano Chilies with Bone Broth; Smoked Red Fish en Papillote; and Pecan-roasted Mushrooms of the Season with Four Chilies, and Olive Oil.
Love is also excited to offer a number of large-format, family friendly dishes and meals, including a 16-hour Smoked Beef Shin with Fresh Ricotta, Chilies, and Smoked Oil served with Borracho Beans and Roasted Beet Salad; as well as Lamb Shoulder with Goat Yogurt, Chilies, Lemon and Camp Bread served with Smoked Spaghetti Squash and Plancha Potatoes. Love will also be serving Open-fire Paella with Mussels, Clams, Rabbit-Rattlesnake Sausage, and Chicken which he'll be making in a 5' wide paella pan, as well as a variety of vegetable dishes, such as a Whole Smoked Cauliflower Head with Olive Oil, Lemon, and Chile Arbol; and Local Acorn Squash with Tuaca, Dark Brown Sugar, and Smoked Pepper Hollandaise.
