Los Molcajetes Roanoke

The traditional Mexican version of a mortar and pestle, Molcajetes have long been considered the starting point of any good meal. Used in everyday cooking as a manual grinder, it is a must-have for the serious Mexican cook. We named our restaurant Los Molcajetes because we are proud of our Mexican heritage and wanted a name that would be a symbol of our cooking traditions. Even today molcajetes are used in our family kitchens.
